Crochet Games and Toys

Mmm, I love handmade toys. This collection of crochet games and toys are perfect for the cottage and road trips (not to mention nice and soft if someone loses and handles them inappropriately).

The mini Checker Game was made from a full size pattern by Red Heart.  We simply divided the pattern in half. You can go nuts on the colour combination or keep it traditional like this set:

The next toy is called a "Coozie" by Lion Brand. It's like a Frisbee. We like to aim it at the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling.  My daughter's think it would be a great dog toy as it wouldn't hurt the pooches mouths.

Mini Pocket Frisbee's are sweet because you can fold 'em up and take them along anywhere.

Our inspiration for the pocket fliers came from Worth a Knit. We modified the pattern by one strand and a smaller hook.  They  whip up fast and use scraps of yarn.  My girls are planning to crochet them for sick children.  Perfect for indoor/outdoor play.

Feel free to share your do-it-yourself toy projects, photo's and stories on our Facebook Page.  We would sure love to see them!

CHEERS!
