Para Cord Wire Word Art

Hi, we are still looking for creative ways to use up our box of Parachute cord.  Here's a wire and yarn word art project that hardly used any material and was pretty much free.

Make your own Word Art in 3 steps:

  1. Pull out the strings inside the parachute cord (available at most craft stores) to make a tube.
  2. Bend the coat hanger fairly straight and feed it through the tube. We used 5 wire hanger's.
  3. Optional: dress up the word by wrapping some scrap yarn around the para cord and wire . Now shape your word.
Our next project is the word "Family".  We will use the brownish para cord like in this next picture from Dollar Store Crafts.

I read that clothesline wire works as well, if not better.  Also, it helps to write down the word on paper before starting as this will avoid mistakes like the "n" in Emily's Birthday name.

Feel free to share your project photo's on our Facebook Page.  We would sure love to see them!

Happy wiring!
